PATIENT NOTICE

Our Treatment Room is moving to an appointments system from November 2014. Please contact the surgery in advance to make an appointment with the Nurse. Many thanks for your co-operation.

Prescriptions

PLEASE NOTE; We require 48 hours notice for all repeat prescriptions. Chemists are now charging a fee for emergency supplies of medications.

Emergencies
Emergencies during surgery hours telephone 8772 2621. Between 8.30 and 6.00 pm, urgent requests will be given prompt attention by the receptionist and the doctor will be informed.

Urgent Appointments
If you have an urgent problem, although you will be able to see a doctor the same day, it will be the first doctor available and may not be your usual doctor.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone the surgery.

APPLICATIONS FOR INCLUSION AS A PATIENT

steth_pills_diaryThe practice list is open and the practice accepts patients who

  • Have an immediate family member in the same household already registered at the practice
  • Live within the practice area Applications for inclusion on the practice list must be made in person to the Practice Manager.

Patients have a right to express a preference to receive all or some medical services from a particular doctor and such preference shall be recorded in the patient’s record. Patients are nonetheless free to consult with any of the practice doctors.

Clinical services will be provided to patients who are not on the practice list if they are staying temporarily in the area or require emergency or immediately necessary treatment.

Patients not entitled to treatment under the National Health Service will be charged a fee for these services.
